Atsuko Maeda Set To Join AKB48 During Upcoming Concert

Former AKB48 member Atsuko Maeda will be joining the group she helped popularize during their July 31st concert.
According to AKS, Maeda will be releasing her 3rd single in September. It was decided that the idol would perform the new song during AKB48's dome tour, giving fans a special opportunity to be one of the first to see the alumnus perform it.
On July 31st, AKB48 will be performing at Sapporo Dome. In addition to Maeda's special guest appearance, a new unit will be revealed as well.
